I am so impressed with this local gem! I love retro diners and this one is perfect! Always remember to get Challah french toast! My friend (Thanks, Ben L.!) and I met here for weekend breakfast. I got the hot cup of coffee which is a classic. We ordered the following dishes to share: Jackson House Breakfast and the Bacon Cheeseburger with fries! Both of these dishes were perfect and I had no bad remarks! Jackson House Breakfast, we got scrambled eggs, breakfast sausage, home fries, challah french toast, and toast with butter on the side. Everything on this plate was so delicious especially the challah french toast - this was my favorite part! The challah french toast was so fluffy and flavorful in the middle and probably my favorite french toast ever! The breakfast sausage was very unique, it's the fat sausages. It has a nice crisp on the outside and meaty inside. Bacon Cheeseburger, this was a delicious burger! The burger patty had nice grilled marks on it and I loved the charred flavor. Fries on the side was crispy and not oily at all! How did they do this? I can't wait to come back!
Decent food at decent prices. Expect a wait during peak brunch time. The pancakes are nice and fluffy. The cheeseburger is filling and the fries are nice and crispy. Service is great They constantly refill coffee.
I have surprisingly never stepped inside this diner despite working only a couple of blocks from here. It is not the most nicest looking diner I have been to but the food speaks for itself. Our server was so lovely and attentive which made the breakfast experience great. She made sure we had all we needed and that our coffee was always filled. The western omelette was tasty and was a decent size. The home fries were seasoned well. I know these are basic breakfast items but they were very tasty. What really impressed me the most was the service and I would completely be returning for that reason.
I've been coming to eat breakfast here since I was inside my mom. The waiters and staff are really friendly and witty. Known them my whole life. The food is diner aesthetic and tastes good. I ordered myself a ham and egg sandwich, they always put the right amount of butter to make their sandwiches really tasty.
